Form, Function, Mobility are common phrases in the athletic community, however I am seeing more and more professionals and amateurs alike practicing “Do as I say and not as I do.” I think the basics get lost in our everyday lives and they are the first things to fall through the cracks, when they should often be the first things accomplished in any given day. I like a practical approach to movement and exercise. Start at the base and work my way up. Is my client using the proper muscles in each exercise? Does he or she have a full range of motion? What alternative movements are possible to alleviate pain and still hit the target muscle group to prevent pain in the future? These questions take time, determination, discipline on both sides Trainer and Trainee alike. I believe doing the right thing always comes first. My version of training is a safe, form correcting, approach to prevent injury, and more focused on identifying the weaknesses and balancing the body. My main focus is to have my client’s live pain free lives, many of them want to accomplish common everyday tasks like: Playing with the grandkids, sitting in a chair without back pain, walking up the stairs, walking down the stairs (often more difficult), having the energy to get up in the morning, etc. I am here to help you accomplish your goals. I have an extensive history in coaching and teaching. Now I get to change people’s lives forever and I couldn’t be happier.
